Different activities for different ages. Classic stories AND learning (rhyme checks)

The app looks great and is well-made. That being said, it is a bit too noisy and distracting. I would rather my almost 4 year old not have so much animation distracting from paying attention to the story. While it looks great, I would prefer her concentrating on the story and not on animations. A still image/animation toggle would be great. Ultimately, I just want the books with a voice-over.

Hitting a small button at the top of the iPad is the worst for one handed reading.

Great app, 3 year old loves it. It's like a babysitter with a one time cost of $3.99.

I think this app is educational and fun for young children.

The whole series us a great interactive learning tool for children. My 5 year old grandson loves it.

I bought these books for my granddaughter. She loves these books. I like the way she interacts with the story.

I have been thoroughly satisfied with this series. All the classics and learning surprises at every page! LOVE IT! And my daughter loves it too.

It’s fun to see Dr Seuss’s original artwork dancing around on the screen! The learning activities are excellent for gauging young readers’ comprehension.

My two-year-old loves the story told through the app.

The pages are alive with animation and sounds. My kids love exploring every page to see what the Cat or the silly Things will do. Completing special learning activities (spelling, rhyming, etc.) on every page helps me know my children are improving their reading skills.

I bought this app under the name "The Cat in the Hat-Dr. Seuss" version 2.7. This app has since been removed and cannot be seen on the Dr. Seuss bookshelf. Old apps should still appear in your products unless this is done on purpose to confuse users that they do not have it. This should be an update since it is version 4.02 or an in app purchase.

So this seems pretty cool, but is there a bug? We keep getting stuck on the 2nd page and it won't let us continue on to the next page. There are several things we can touch for vocabulary but it simply will not let us continue on to the next page.

I didn’t know what to expect, how can you improve on this classic? But, Wow! This is so smart and easy to use. What I love most it is hasn’t taken away from the old fashion Dr. Seuss charm while making it as modern and relevant as any cutting edge app out there. I think I love it as much as my kids do!

Love the new app. So much to play with. If you have children, I would download this app asap! So much to learn and play with!

I love the experience of this app. I sure hope we get more like the Grinch, or Green Eggs and Ham, or Horton, you name it.

What a great upgrade to the already fabulous book. The interactive capabilities, when added to this Dr. Seuss classic, make this so educational. My kids love looking for the stars and answering the questions. They are learning and don't even know it! Well done, Oceanhouse Media!
